In a demonstration of the most important Theta ideal, love, sisters gave up some of their simple pleasures in order to donate to the Foundation’s Friendship Fund through Project LOVE 2009. Donations to Friendship Fund help sisters experiencing severe financial distress, catastrophic illness, natural disaster, and urgent family crisis.

“I’m giving up dinner out at a nice restaurant.”
“I can do without that pedicure.”
“I’ll give up browsing catalogs for a month. I always seem to find items/gifts (on sale of course) that I ‘need’, but really don't.”
“I will give up buying my morning cappuccino.”
“I’m giving up a movie and dinner out one weekend.”
“I’ll give up Peanut M&Ms!”
“I won’t buy fresh flowers for my house all month.”
“I can do without my daily Starbuck’s Iced Tea.”
